Today is the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year.How appropriate to have the "Bloom of the Day" be a mammoth sunflower. The tallest one in my in my garden measures over 18 feet high (that is how tall I could get the tape measure to stay in one place) and the largest flower is 11" wide. So stay cool on the long hot summer day!!
