Tess of the d'Urbervilles
The flowers of this variety vie with 'L. D. Braithwaite' for the brightness of the crimson, although, this is perhaps slightly lighter. The bloom, also, is of a rather different shape, being deeply cupped, the outer petals eventually relaxing back.
