Felicite Parmentier, Alba
The shapeliness of its double, sweetly scented flowers, their petals exquisitely layered and folded make this one of the most desirable of the Old Garden Roses. The Parmentiers were a family prominent in French horticulture at the time this was introduced sometime before 1828. The details of its raiser and parents are long forgotten.
